Hi, I'm Mark Walsh

I’m the author of six books including: Embodiment, Working with the Body in Training and Coaching, and Embodied Meditation. 

I host The Embodiment Podcast (3 million+ downloads) and led the record breaking Embodiment Conference (1000 teachers, 500,000 delegates)…which frankly almost killed me.

I founded the Certificate of Embodiment Coaching, and have qualified over 2000 coaches. I’ve taught in over 40 countries, and in many organisations (e.g. Google, the NHS, Oxfam, Unilever, Shell, L’Oreal, even the The House of Lords).

I hold an honours in psychology (which I got while drunk … don’t worry I’m sober now) and an aikido black belt. I also have 30 years of experience of other martial arts, with yoga, bodywork, improv comedy, conscious dance and meditation. Hippie.

I’ve worked in various war zones (including founding a trauma education charity in Ukraine), and with over 30,000 children in the UK. I’ve headlined International Coach Federation events, lived with a circus In Ethiopia, taught celebrities and street kids, and kissed a princess.

I lead the Feral Philosophy project to help young men with their mental health and mental making.

I dance like your dad at a wedding, impress cats with my stroking, and offend pirates with my swearing. I’ve survived addiction, million pound debt, “cancellation”, divorce, burnout and PTSD. What a legend.
